Yifan Li’s project looked at accessibility on the High Line. The High Line is a hugely successful private park built along an elevated railroad track on Manhattan’s West Side. Yifan examined whether this park was accessible to people of varying physical abilities, socio-economic backgrounds, and nationalities. Her conclusion was that the High Line could do a lot more to broaden the scope of people who can use the park.
