Dat Nguyen’s primary mode of examining and experiencing the city is through sketching. His project consists of a series of images he created in situ around the city, documenting the places and people he saw in this vibrant metropolis. He gave us a presentation on this street corner in Woodside, Queens, talking about how he saw it as an intersection of everything that makes New York a living, breathing city.
